About

Diabase is an open directory of mental health apps built between 2020 and 2022 by the Chaire Diament lab, in Montréal, Canada. It is the main result of a research project that aimed to identify and document the design strategies at work in e-mental health innovation projects worldwide, by building an open and evolving analytical directory to categorize and characterize them. Our overall goal was to study the design strategies used in the development of e-mental health services worldwide, and to assess their impact on the adoption and effectiveness of these services.

Diabase is a project funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), winner of the 2020 Insight Development Grant.
